Final Critical Reflection on Module Learning & Presentation Showcase

Through the CPD II journey, I have attained better presentation and writing skills. Opportunities were given in class to express ourselves and step out of our comfort zone. Communication skills were improved through working with a new group of peers and interacting with people of a different personality in the class.

Furthermore, Critical thinking skills were obtained through the questions and answers session after each of our presentations. The mock presentation also helped to build my confidence level and to be a natural speaker in front of the class. I can eventually further improve my communication skills by being more engaging during my presentations. This can be practiced by asking relevant questions that are presented, as well as communicating with the audience using good eye contact.

My showcase reflection will be about Group 1 - GoldHeart, consisting of Sandy, Amanda, Charis, and Eunice.

GoldHeart did well in giving the audience an in-depth overview of the definition of service excellence and different type of effective communication such as verbal and non-verbal communication. Additionally,  their background overview is well supported with relevant data and numbers.

Goldheart have elaborated on their data collection method right after the breakdown of overview. This helps to further support their proven overview identification that they mentioned above. The news and reviews given are relevant, and thus we are able to relate to a certain extent.

Goldheart also provides their purpose of study on non-verbal communication, maintain professionalism and facilitate effective communication, and boost experience, improve ratings and achieve service excellence.  They did a great job explaining the service solution in a detailed manner.

Moving on to their video, it is very engaging and interesting, with some funny elements in it. Last but not least, the benefits were well listed with an attractive slide design.

All in all, I have enjoyed watching their presentation.
